Missing star in the Stargate

Ref Astronomy Now April 2011 p60 Triple star of the month - The Stargate.

When I try to replicate this 6 star asterism on CDC, I find the inner star C (11mag) missing. Any ideas why?

I have the BSC, Tycho2 and WDS catalogues loaded up and Mags set to above 11.

Double star ref lines do indicate the presence of a star at their intersection but no star is there?

I don't know why those catalogues are missing that star, however I was

observing the 'stargate' recently with my 10" Dob ( the stargate is about

1 degree west of M104 ) and one of the inner triangle of stars is much

fainter than the others, for visual observers with a small telescope it

could be invisible, especially with heavy light pollution.

Regards, Ed.
