M61 LRGB Image

Not been able to post for some time due to equipment issues, and the lack of clear nights. I've been trying to get to grips with LRGB imaging with my filter wheel and OAG, and layered on that was communication loss issues with the mount and guiding problems. Anyway, I think I've sorted the mount and guide issues and last night managed to get off a quick session on the nearest target of interest.

The equipment is C8 SCT + 0.6FR + SXOAG + SXFW + SXVH16 + EQ6. Sequence controlled with Maxim DL + PHD + EQMOD. This is M61 with 10x240s L and 10x60s RGB, processed in PS. I've discovered a lot of colour issues with the RGB, especially the R. This is very much a learning exercise in its early stages, so hopefully I can improve the quality as I carry on.

Had awful trouble trying to extract the minor stars and fuzzies from the background of your image especially at the bottom.

Anyhow,being an idle fella,did a crop and worked on the easy bits.
