Help me to find a Dslr camera

Recommended Posts

I'm looking at buying an Dslr cam but I'm not sure what kind of spec is needed for good photos of constellations/through telescope combo

I also have a very low budget so cheaper the better

Please help

Thanks in advance

Brian

A lot of people seem to start out with a canon 1000d - relatively cheap, live view, controllable from your laptop. You could start with a second hand body (if you can find one) - you will need a t-ring and nosepiece unless your telescope has a direct connection. If you find a 'modded' one (it has one of the filters removed to make it more sensitive to the red end of the spectrum) so much the better.
