Moon Mosaic 10-04-2011

Here is my first attempt at a moon mosaic. It is made up of 3 F10 afocal images taken through my NS8GPS using an EOS 1000d at iso400 with an 1/80sec exposure.

It was taken while waiting for it to go dark on Sunday at 19:50. I was really surprised at how well it turned out especially as I seem to have captured the Lunar X. I think its a little over exposed on the lit side.

Heres a previous version there is a colour and focus miss match at the joins so i re did it to the image in the post above.

That's come out well Darren, as you say a little overexposed... you may be able to correct that, if you shot in raw, by pulling the exposure down in raw processing. But, good details and well stitched too. Well caught on the X
