earth titan
Twould appear this is in very short supply. Something about the chinese and rare earth metals.....Any alternatives? Is the stuff advertised by stone polishers the same stuff? Is there a particular grade?Just asking cos this is the only stuff it would appear to be difficult to source. FraserClarke
I *think* the stuff used in stone polishing is much rougher grade, and not suitable for optics work.Where are you looking? Galvoptics? Scientific-Mirrors? BeaconHill??There are some European suppliers too, though I can't remember names off hand. You could also look at buying it from the US, as you'll only need 200g at most... barkis
You could use Jewellers Rouge, but it's messy and slow polishing, which is no bad thing.Ron.
