It would have been perfect, except for natures light pollution. The seeing was amazing. So I expect there will be excellent Lunar and Saturn pics taken tonight. I was splitting doubles which is nice on a night like this. I did crank up the mag to look at saturn for a while, which was amazingly steady and clear even on my bargain basement plossl's which cost significantly less than £1000.

agree with the great conditions, been exceptional here for the past 4 nights but now its all over, cloud has taken control with rain coming soon though the garden wil be glad of it!
