LOL, I do prefer this design to a truss dob, and I know it wouldnt be a good idea to make a 20" scope, but a 10" could be could, I just wonder how stable it would be...

You'd probably have to fill the bowl with molten uranium to get it heavy enough to balance the secondary end...

Do you know any old time retired plumbers? I got about 200lbs of lead from an old plumber who had tons of 50lb ingots in his crawlspace from when they use to use it for sealing cast iron drain pipes.
