Skywatcher 150p....?

After owning the 150p for about a month, i was looking at the 2" eyepiece adapter. I then realised the 1.25" screws into the 2" adapter...

Silly question but should the 2" adapter always be on the scope with the 1.25" screwed into that? Ive just been using the 1.25" part:rolleyes:

If you just put the 1.25 adapter straight into the focuser isn't there a danger of damaging the threads on the adapter with the locking screws ?

Or have I missed the point lol

I put the 1.25" straight into the focuser. If you put the 1.25" into the 2" then into the focusser, it is way too long to reach focus with some eyepieces.

Cheers for the replies, glad i had it right in the first place just wondered what the extra length would do for seeing objects.
