Saturn and M13 through my new 10mm

Absolutely chuffed.

Just got my first view of Saturn through my newly purchased Celestron X-Cel 10mm. Sharp image, and my Baader Semi Apo filter did a fantastic job of eliminating the CA that is usually devastating through my ST150. Just need a decent 3x Barlow now!

Turned my attention to M13, which looked really good with some averted vision. Also managed to image it via my 1000D, and the results look promising.

Really wanted to get myself a dual focuser now as well. Using this old R&P one can be quite tricky. I suppose it makes it more of an achievement when I get it right!

M13 has always been one of my favourites, love the way it pops out at you with averted vision!
