Setup and images from 27/03/2011

Hi,

I just finished processing my AVI-s from last Sunday with a "3 wavelength" setup on my EQ6 ( see photo ). As you see I am using two of the Skywatcher "Guide mounts" to align the 3 scopes, they are holding really well and are smoothly adjustable.

- Visual band : MEADE 5000 127mm APO + DB31 camera + 2x barlow, 800 / 1500 frames taken in IC-Capture, stacked and waveletting in Registax 5.1 final touch in Photoshop

- CAK: ED80 + DBK31 camera, 600/800 frames taken in IC-Capture, stacked + waveletting in in Registax 5.1.

- H-alpha: Lunt 60mm double-stack + DMK21 + 2x barlow. This is a two-pane mosaic, each one is a stack of best 800 frames of 1200 in Registax 5.1. False Ha color added in Photoshop .
