In response to JamesF regarding IR ... the colour picture is a standard RGB set while the mono image was taken through a 742nm filter. As expected, the polar regions are rendered dimmer but the Cassini div is beautifully 'visible' on account of there being nothing there to reflect heat. Trying to incorporate heat signatures into visible light pictures is more down to artistic interpretation than reality and the results are peculiar, to say the least.
