Help with Meade ETX-70AT

Hi there..

I am completely new to Astronomy and my partner bought me a scope for my 40th birthday. Had an interest in it for a good few years but this is my first time with a scope. I've always wanted one with a GO TO on it in hopes it would be easier for me to navigate the skies as I am learning. WELL, I was wrong I totally messed up tonight and I am a bit gutted I didnt do it right lol

Does anyone know if and where I can get lessons on how to use the Telescope?

i would suggest a local astro group... i think i remember s&s doing a video intro on the 80mm model...

Have a look on the Meade site for video's of the scope,and as said read as much as you can,then practice practice practice
