Planetary Imaging! Cheap.

Hi ppl,

I have been thinking over the past few days what is a good *cheap* planetary photo OTA ive seen some fantastic results with the 127 mak! just been thinking thats all and wanted your views!

I have a Celestron 130 SLT and SW 200P and for planetry work both have good performance however if you want to go further i.e. DSO objects then the 200P is the answer as you grab more light.

To be honest I don't think there is a better cheaper ota for planetary work than the skywatcher 127 mak and a webcam

The general rule is for planetery is you want a long focal legnth scope.

Mak's are usualy a good choice because of this and the fact that they are very portable at the same time.

Also web cams are also a good choice and cheap too. The SPC9000 seems to be very popular for the job.
