Meade LXD55 (non-GOTO) Mount - Any good ?

Would an LXD55 EQ mount be OK for my 90MM APO (OTA weighs a bit under 10lbs all up) ? - I believe it's around the same as an EQ5 / CG5 but not as good as a Vixen SP - anyone got any experience to share of one of these ?.

more than enough for the weight, but I wouldn't put the mount in the same category as the CG5, at least the new one which was made to be better than the LXD75 never mind the LXD55. Still a decent mount though as long as it's cheap enough.

I've never owned one but a few years ago the internet was full of tips and guides on how to fix all the faults on the mount. I'd try before I buy if thats possible.
