Astronomy Video Player

I got an email from Gary Nugent giving details of his new Astronomy Video Player

I've installed and subscribed and it seems pretty good. Quite a bit of content that I've never seen before.

It can be found here:

http://www.nightskyobserver.com/AVP-Subscribe.php

Heres a snippet of the blurb from the email:

This software runs on your desktop and provides access to hundreds

of online videos. The video list is updated frequently and videos

are categorized so you can easily find what you're looking for. And

it saves you the time and hassle of tracking down quality programs.

Here's a selection of the videos available through the player:

A huge range of astronomy lectures from various sources

The International Astronomical Union talks from 2006

The BBC's Sky at Night

The BBC's "Space" documentary series

NASA documentaries

The Elegant Universe TV series

Doumentaries about telescopes and observatories

...and hundreds of other quality programs.

Astronomy Video Player is a subscription service. The first 100 to

join will only ever pay $1.97 per month. The second 100 will pay

$2.97, the third 100, $3.97 and for everyone after that, the fee

will be $4.97.

This low fee covers the software costs and researching further

material to add to the Astronomy Video Player archive.

Fees are locked in for as long as you're a member.

Never be stuck for something to watch again!
