Rubbish timing

Well stayed in this evening to spend a bit of time with hubby as all weekend I have been out stargazing, anyway watched Brian Cox with hubby on tv, when it finishes I looked outside to show him Orion because of what was discussed on the programme and it is crystal clear still, so do the normal 9:30pm thing in our hour and go up to check on our 22 month old twins and change nappies ready for the night (takes 10 mins tops) and think great can go outside now with the binos - walk out onto the decking ready with wine in one hand and binos in the other and what do I see but CLOUD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Grrrrrrrrrrr :o

Lay on the decking though and looked at the moon for 15 mins through the passing clouds.

The only amazing thing I see is in the shadow is the line of one of the craters is carrying on in the darkness - absolutely amazing - shows how deep this crater must be - just wish it hadn't clouded over!
