vince 66
Does any one know what size thread it is that screws into a camera to hold it on to the tripod and can you get a tap for this as I am trying to adapt my sky surfer to fit on to my m615. Psychobilly
1/4"-20 UNC or 1/4" BSW both work...Couple of quid on ebay...http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/WARRIOR-1-4-20-UNC-TAP-1-4-UNC-1ST-TAP-NEW-/250722341953?pt=UK_BOI_Metalworking_Milling_Welding_Metalworking_Supplies_ET&hash=item3a60375441

Psychobilly
No worries... I personaly aways use 1/4" BSW as I have the taps... The thread form is ever so slightly different between the two and its often a subject of debate as to which is the "correct" thread...Tapping drill should be 5.1mm
Photosbykev
As cameras were a British invention I'd like to think it was BSW but probably mass production designs for the USA changed the thread to their standard the 1/4"-20UNC but either thread form works ok.
