Hx916 First Light on M1

I took the plunge and bought a 2nd hand Hx916 and boy how different is it to using a DSLR, I was just bemused on how to focus using it at first , typical it happened last night so everything was done in the dark instead of having the luxury of a weekend to set it up outside.

So this was about 30 out of 50 60sec lights plus 9 out of 10 darks.

So I think my next purchase will have to be a guider, and then look at filter wheels, it's a bit complicated this astrophotography lark

Congrats on a great first light, I love my Hx916 and it's served me well (as it did Peter Shah before me).
