Mammoth Saturn Session!!!

Greetings all!

Well, I had a magnificent night with Saturn last night- i started a 2347UT and stopped at 0217UT. I managed to get three reasonable drawings. The two bright storms of the northern hemisphere were well placed and I was able to get drawings of them- it was a little bit difficult to determine their boundaries and shape with real accuracy- the seeing was only average and the planet's low altitude did not help at all.

In the third drawing I used a #80A blue filter which really did help bring the spots out suggesting that they are indeed a phenomena of the upper atmosphere.

That's some excellent fine detail. Really good to see the spots / storms activity recorded with such clarity. I like the second one especially with the spots pushing darker material into the NEB. Super stuff
