2nd atempt at webcam imaging

Hi all i planned on going out last night just for a bit of visual observing, but when i saw the cresent moon and jupiter low in the west i couldnt resist using my new toy. So out came the webcam.

I know these are not the best but i think they are an improvement on what i have captured previously.

very good effort Ben, i must have been out half a dozen times before i could get an image of Jupiter onto the chip.

may be alittle better focus on the Moon image, it`s hard as the image seems to "boil"

while your trying to focus and use a 2x barlow on Jupiter for a bit more scale and detail.

great efforts, keep it up

Thanks for the comments, i think the 2x barlow is my next purchase. I got up early this morning and managed to have my first attempt at saturn, it was even harder to catch than jupiter i seemed to be chasing it forever before got it on chip, but i am quite pleased at the result and i think it was worth getting up at 4am
