Last minute dew prevention

A long overdue (hopefully not overdew) clear night forecast tonight! Been far too long since I've had the opportunity to do much imaging so want to make the most of it!

However, I think there is also frost forecast, is there anything last-minute and home made I can do to try and limit the build-up and stop the mirror freezing over? Other than keeping the hair drier plugged in!

Hair Dryer on a low warm heat every now and then.

Easiest approach

Or try a camp map rolled up or even cardboard for a dew shield to help.

Had the hair drier on stand-by, but luckily didn't need it in the end

I use a fan heater , its practically silent, I pause the imaging session for a couple of minutes ..

Screwed a manfrotto tripod mount to the base and use the tripod to point it at the scope.. de dews the whole setup and guide scope in seconds..

Give your hands quick warm too
