dslr question

As being new to imaging using D90 can someone tell me if using a dslr do you need both NR on if you are taking darks flats and bias, as the wait to record on card is a lot less time without as the darks ect can be taken later.

No, don't use the in camera long exposure noise reduction. Use darks and many light instead
