DSS Query

After stacking in DSS you can adjust the colour channels and I did so to the point that the image was ok (to me anyway) I then saved the image, closed DSS and opened the image up in PS but none of the colour adjustment was there as if it had never been saved. If I copy the image to the clipboard and paste it into a new PS image then the colour adjustment appears, can anyone shed any light on what I'm doing wrong? If I knew what to do in PS I would have a go but I tried and could not get close to the way it was in DSS.

In DSS - at least with Tiffs you can save the files either with the changes embedded or applied...
