My second galaxy :).

So with the goto scope I've found, my first planetary nebula, and my first galaxy not named M31, it's M82, I was wondering with dark skies and a good EP could I see stars in some of the brighter galaxies with my 10"?

I aligned last night, set the goto to Andromeda then hit go... it pointed me somewhere near Ursa Major :/

I then went manual and found M34 and Triangulum.

What EP are you using atm? I was using a Baader Hyperion 13mm which far exceeds the bundled EP by order of magnitudes.

Technically speaking when you look a other Galaxies, that is what you are seeing, one hell of a lot of stars.
