Hey guys, I just thought I'd post all of my most-recent sketches of a couple of some great objects. I had a really clear night and saw some great things. The cold really didn't bother me because I was so excited about what I seeing & sketching! I hope you like them

Super sketches Brandon.

I sketched The Ghost of Jupiter PN NGC 3242 last spring. Actually I was really excited to find it as it was the first time I'd seen it. I remember being surprised at how obvious it was in the eyepiece. At the time I was using an 8.5" reflector. Set myself up at low power and got a grainy disc of light with sharp edges. I did note it as being not quite round with a bit of a NE/SW oblateness to it. Never got the central star though. I think I needed to have gone with a higher power to pull it out.
