2" filters and aWO Di - electric diagonal

Hi To All, just a little advice needed, Can I fit a 2" filter onto the SCT adapter of the William Optics Di - electric Diagonal, I'm using an 8" LX90 and wondered if the filter can be fitted to the SCT adapter, so I can view with different ep's, without keep screwing and unscrewing the filter, it looks threaded - but not sure, the filter hasn't arrived yet and sooooo much cloud. If the diagonal slots in it will almost certainly accept 48mm filters. The adapter which screws on the back of the sct probably won't if it is like the one I have (2" SCT/ZS66 adapter).

Hi Wayne, Thanks the diagonal I have is the 1 with the alluminium sides, not the Carbon fibre 1, got a thread just inside the larger threaded cap which fits onto the back of the scope, but it looks a little tricky to fit the filter inside the larger threaded cap, hope you know what I'm on about - there's threads all over the place !!!!!!.
