Making a lunar animation

Hello guys.

I'm thinking about making a lunar animation out of each of the mosaics that I've shot yet am having a tough time figuring out how to align all the images!

I'm going for something like this:

So far I've got eight pictures. Has anyone done this sort of thing before and can offer any guidance?

Brilliant if you can pull it off, I have no advice as I have not seen anything like this here recently so good luck. Love the libration as it shows the moon to newcomers very well.

Yeah it really shows just how much the moon kinda swings as it goes through the cycle. It's a bit like a spinning top just before it falls...just without the spinning

Anyway I think to line up my images maybe I should just align them with this render - that way the work's done for me. It's interesting that the animation also has 59 frames. If I make an animation with 29 frames instead (one for each day) it would probably look a bit too jumpy!
