How to take pics with a T-mount?

Recommended Posts

Hello, i have recently purchased a T-mount adapter for for my telescope. I tried to take some pictures of Jupiter and Orion's nebula but they didnt come out to good?

I put my wide angle eyepiece in the T-mount to take the pics.

Any advice would be great.

Thank you

Hi, yes its a Sony DSLR.

Sorry i when i said wide angle lens i meant eyepiece. The T-mount has a screw so that you can put a eyepiece inside. Would you say then i would get better results with out putting my eyepiece inside??

Yes...

For your first trials just use the camera body and the front section of the camera adaptor.

When you insert this combo into your focuser you should be able to focus the camera on the moon or stars.

A good place to start.
