Beautiful Night and No Scope! Yet!

Morning all,

Well on my way back from camera club last night and the skies across wiltshire were very clear. I stopped in the middle of nowhere and stared in awe.

Got home, turned the outside lights out and went in the garden. I am fairly certain I will be able to use my garden but I have a lot of trees on the edge, some of which are coming down soon.

If all goes to plan the scope will arrive today, but I may not get the chance to check it out with every night this week taking up. However, I will be meeting up with SAM - Peter tonight so I hope he will be ready for all the questions!

Looking forward to my learning curve!

It was clear here in Swindon although the LP was drawn quite high.

I only realised the skies in Swindon were clear at around 10:30pm, too late to get any colour on My horse head shot (as it was fast approaching the rooftops).

I did manage to grab another 3 hours of Luminance data on NGC2903.

Hi Mike,

Camera club is in Calne and it was on my way back via Bishop Cannings that I stopped.

Forgive my lack of newbie knowledge but what is 'LP'?
