Me and the mrs finally got the chance to get away for the weekend, we went to Criccieth in Wales to a farm and perfect dark sky site. I took the scope got it set up ready for the night to come rolling in, however the only thing that rolled in was clouds and bucket fulls of rain!!!!!!!!!!!!

Certainly did rain Wales over the weekend. My Mapplin weather station recorded another 4" of rain in 48 hours. Mix that with wind speeds averaging 40mph and you can imagine that it was a bit grim.
