Alt mount suggestion

My AZ4 mount has packed in after little use - only a few weeks, the altitude axis has completely locked up. It's a shame as it was a good setup. FLO arranging for collection. I am reluctant to get another, they will let me know what the problem might be and will report back.

So i need another grab and go mount for my 4" ED. Do not want to spend more than 200 to 300. I was considering this mount from orion GSO Mount but sold all stock at fest and delivery could be a few months! Another choice could be Porta Mount, which could be marginal with long tube F9 but no wait time. Can anyone suggest any other possibilities on alt mount under 300.

Hi Andrew,

There is the Tele-Optic Giro 3 mount. New 250 - 290 Euro. Depending on if you take the one or two arm version. Carries easely a 4" ED without counter weights.

Might actually sell my one arm version to move to a twin arm (drop me a pm if interested ). You would need a tripod and a dovetail clamp in addition to the Giro.
