IC434 and M42 300111

Froze to death last night, but had to keep at it as first night of imaging for about 4 months! Lot of things went wrong, but first real go with the Leitz lens

19x240, ISO 800, various short exposures for M42, modified Canon 350D, Leitz APO F3.4, stacked in DSS, Processed PSCS.

Would like to have done more exposures, but took ages to suss out where the HH was going to be in relation to M42, and to get the camera tilted at an ok angle.

Thanks everyone, no I did not use darks, very naughty!!! It was an ordeal last night, so was grateful for small mercies!!
