CPRE light pollution survey

So how many stars can you see in orion?

Had a look at this survey and then checked how many I could see last night

12 for me (excluding the four corner stars) at about 7.30pm

Anyone else tried this? Interesting to know how my sky compares

6 at 7:45 last night. Went out an hour later to see if things had improved and it was totally clouded over

Went out Tuesday night to walk the dog, counted 21 (Sleaford, looking out to Silk Willoughby), but lucky in that Orion is over fields rather than over the town - if it was the plough then can only see the major ones. Submitted results to CPRE.
