Successful evening 28/01/11 Orion and Horsehead

Here are a few images captured during the night of 28th January at the NLO Observatory, Sidmouth, Devon.

These are my first foray into colour images.

The horsehead is a mono picture with false HA colours added in photoshop.

The two Orion Nebula images are RGB and LRGB respectively. This is the first time I have processed in colour, and it shows. Although one image is over coloured I like it, even though the purists amongst you will no doubt think it garish.

Wow....They are amazing images.

I actually like them, I think with the right processing that second one, combined with some shorter exposures to sort the core out would look sweet.
