What am I seeing?

First things first... I'm using a real cheap refractor right now and when I was looking at Jupiter the other night I saw a strange faint crescent.

I've drawn what I can see in photoshop any ideas what it is?

the red ring shows the field of view I have in the lens.

some sort of internal reflection in the imaging train?
