Great Red Spot visibility

Yes, I've had my best views of the GRS at this apparition, but Jupiter

is way past its best right now. Best to view it at dusk, before it sinks

too low. I think the fading of the SEB has made the GRS easier to see.

I'll check when the GRS is visible, and return with an edit.

Regards, Ed.

Edit : Great Red Spot transit times here - http://www.skyandtelescope.com/skytel/beyondthepage/91731334.html

The next time the GRS will transit while Jupiter is reasonably high up is 1806 hrs Sun 30th Jan. Good luck !
