The Moon - widefield (18th)

I love coming out of school and seeing the Moon hanging there one horizon, with the Sun setting on the other. Moments where yu can see the large, low Moon in the deep twilight blue really let you know that you are living on a pair of planets spinning through space:

Thanks Alan That's right - my parents do the maintenance (but I cut the grass). It's a great place for landscape astro-photos too.

Pete - thanks! I tried to capture it as I saw it, and the trees were the first thing that I saw it against.

thats just about how it works, you could spend ages setting the shoot, then zero, when an excellent "candid" shot will give better results, again well done.

Thanks - yes, sometimes all you have to do is take the picture and it automatically looks nice
