I had the modded PST out first time for 3 months

Nice spot and some interesting proms

so if you get a chance it may be worth it

Yes its good to be able to view the Sun again. I took out the PST and as you say an interesting spot (1147) and proms.

Decided to have a better look at the spot using a thousand oaks filter fitted to a William Optics SD66. The main spot (1147) has a number of smaller spots close by. In southern hemisphere there are two small spots as well. I could not find an official number for these - as yet!

I would have liked to get the webcam up and running but time got tight
