My first Saturn Observation

Stood out in my neighbours yard with the iPad currently, and just had my first brief glimpse of Saturn, just as clouds roll in fast and now all I can see is a hazy flicker!

Stunning with a 12.4mm plossi with my lx90-8, going to make a coffee and hold out for a break in the clouds, but sadly I think it's just not going to happen.

Stunning first time brief view, and this weather makes it almost a tease, hoping Tuesday is going to be as clear as they say!

Saturn is brilliant, isn't it. Don't worry about the teaser: Saturn will get better and better as opposition approaches.

Congratulations! I got up early not so long ago, and between clouds and my inexperience, I didn't see it

Definately on my to do list. In fact, I may set the alarm, for 5am tomorrow
