Skywatcher 300p focuser

Now i have built the mount for the scope, getting ready to use the thing . Maybe i was spoilt by the focuser on my 80mm equinox, but the 2 speed focuser on the newt could hardly be described as silky . Anyone got any ideas as not too keen on forking out for a new one

If you want to improve on the Skywatcher focuser and you don't mind doing a bit of D.I.Y. Then I would suggest you go on Youtube and type in astronomyshed

You'll get awesome info and advice from this guy!!!!

The modification on the focusser will definitely save's you money that's for starters!!

Some great videos, may be a silly question but I have the dual speed crayford focuser with the mod still work
