Personally....I'd put the money in the bank, save it towards a nice mn190 or something.

Whilst doing so, get more imaging done!! You won't need a light pollution filter if you are not near light pollution, you can get other filters but I will leave others to advise you on that.

The maybe try you're luck with one of the many suggested filters available. I'm sure that there are plenty of members on this crackin forum that can suggest further.

I cannot as yet as I have only just modded the camera and my only way of cutting light pollution was with a cardboard box and 12ft fishing rod lol. Now I have a sw filter, so hopefully that will clear it up :)
