Rosette Nebula 1-5-11

This is not a serious photo, I was just wanting to take a picture of it before I was done for the night. I had a tough time finding the star cluster, but I finally found it. I didn't do my normal focusing since I just wanted to grab a quick photo and test my new UHC filter.

I have always noticed that I get vignetting with the telescope, but I noticed that filter caused even more vignetting. Is this normal for a filter to cause this?

I like it. It is one object i crave to see. I can find the cluster no problem within seconds when i turn left at Orion (Beetlejuice). The nebula eludes me visually.

Thank you. Once I get another clear night I will do proper imaging of this one. Like I mentioned in my post I noticed a lot more Coma would the Astronomik UHC filter cause this or could it be since I didn't have it focused properly.
