Set your alarm. Early tomorrow morning, 9th Dec, Jupiter, Mercury and Mars will gather together in a tiny triangle about 1 degree wide. Look for them low in the South- Eastern sky just before sunrise (08.15-08.30).

The view through binoculars should be especially fine: all three planets will fit simultaneously in the field of view.

NB: Never view the Sun through binoculars or a telescope without a suitable filter!
