Bizibilder Posted December 24, 2010 Share Posted December 24, 2010 DON'T use the mains!!!!! (Unless you know exactly what you are doing). You would be better off using a 12v battery. Maplins sell them:3in1 Portable Jumpstarter : InCar Battery Chargers and Compressors : Maplinon offer at the moment!! just plug the controller into the cigarette socket on the battery. BlueAstra Posted December 25, 2010 Share Posted December 25, 2010 I run my setup from the house via a mains cable to a plugboard at the mount. I use a mains/cig lighter socket similar to the one you show to power my astrozap dew heaters.
