Single shot Imaging

I have a Philips 900c and was thinking of using it for some moon shots with my Dob

Is it possible to take single shots with a Philips using AMCAP as the capture software and if so how do you do it

Even with a Dob, if you take (short) movies & stack the frames you will get better results than shooting single frames ... fact of the matter is, web cams are noisy & stacking frames reduces noise by averaging it out. At reasonable image scales you should be able to shoot 10-15 sec movies without a tracking drive.

Registax 5.1 is a good program for stacing pic's and if you have problems uesing the program you tube have got some tutorials
