300p Skyliner Focus Question

Hi all, I am hoping to get an equatorial platform soon for my 12" Skyliner. I have read posts that have said a new focuser is required for lunar/planetary imaging with the 10" Skyliner, I assume this will be the same for the 12"?

I really don't want to touch the mirror at all. So is there a way to get focus without having to shell out for a new focuser or jigger about with the precious mirror? For example using a x5 barlow alongside the webcam.

Does anyone have any experience imaging with this scope?

How about a skywatcher auto focuser?

I don't think there's a back focus problem with the 300P. I've taken webcam shots of the ISS with it. Adding barlow or similar only helps bring the focus point further out.
