Thanks for the heads up David :)

I've been observing Jupiter this evening (29/11) from around 7:00 pm until 8:00 pm and I'd say that a substantial portion of the SEB was showing more definition than it has for a while tonight. No where near as dark as the NEB yet but certainly something seemed to be happening in that region - almost equalling the STB in terms of contrast perhaps ?.

There was also a large festoon projecting from the NEB into the pale Equatorial Zone.

The instrument was a 6" F/6 mak-newtonian @ 150x.
