First go at LRGB

Got meself a QHY9 this morning and spent nearly all day getting my head round it, the QHY9 (like all QHY's) come with no instructions at all. The drivers loaded first go and the camera was found straight away on the laptop, but when I opened Nebulosity2 and selected the camera I was presented an array of settings, some I have no idea about and have never heard of.

Anyway, after faffing and fiddleing I managed to set the CCD temp(-20C), set the gain and offset, take about 50 offset, 50 flats, and 50 3 min darks.

I thought I'd start on a star cluster, The Double Cluster, so got the guiding going set for 3 min exposures and let it rip - exactly 10 mins later its snowing - Ho Hum!

So I present to you 9 mins of the Double Cluster in Lum only!

I know its not picture of the week but its a start:)

It looks like your first go at L, rather than at LRGB, but good start
