Personally I think that all the Skyliner dobsonians represent excellent "bang for your buck". If I had to choose one it would be the 8" F/6 though - 8" is enough to show DSO's well and the focal ratio ensures collimation is not a chore and that the central obstruction is small enough to give nice contrasty planetary views too.

Not knocking the 6 or any of the others either though

Yes, I ordered one in August.

It's very good, the 10mm that comes with it is a [removed word] though.

I haven't gotten a chance to buy a new one yet.

Got some good views although i'm only beginning. A lot of clouds here in Estonia, hoping for my first view of Orion tonight.
