Counterweight compatibility

I'm wondering if I can use the counterweight I have on my EQ1 on my new EQ5 (yet to arrive) to save postage costs.

It weighs 2.185 kg, the hole is 0.5 inch (1.2cm) in diameter, and the pole length is 8.5 inches (21.5cm) .

Can anyone help?

The answer is no.

Well, not unless you enlarge the hole in the weight to fit the bar on the EQ5!

I'm pretty sure that the hole in the middle won't be big enough for the EQ5. But you could always drill it out - that won't be as easy as it sounds though.
